Excitement levels were off the scale as Cobholm Primary pupils had a close encounter with the reptilian residents of a wildlife park.
The Year 6 pupils had the chance to hold a spiny-tailed lizard during a visit to Africa Alive in Suffolk in May.
During the animal encounter session they also met a giant East African land snail, and handled a large reptile egg.
The safari park is home to over 80 species of exotic animals including giraffe, zebra, and rhino.
