Inspiration Trust welcomes Micon Metcalfe to the team

Inspiration Trust Chief Operating Officer, Adrian Ball has been appointed as the Chief Executive of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust. DEMAT is responsible for 40 primary schools across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk & Suffolk.

Adrian will be sorely missed and we wish him well for the future.

Adrian would like to say “Thank you to everyone at Inspiration who has worked with and supported me over the past six years. The ten years spent working for Dame Rachel de Souza have set me up to confidently take on my own Trust. Good luck in the future.”

We are very fortunate to have appointed Micon Metcalfe as the new Chief Operating Officer for the Inspiration Trust. Micon is highly respected and is very strong on governance, compliance, buildings, finance etc. She is one of the DfEs SRMs and a great believer in CLFP and centralised support.

Micon says "I am delighted to be joining Inspiration Trust for the coming academic year. I’m looking forward to working with Dame Rachel de Souza, Trustees, Principals and the staff in their schools and the wider Central Team in driving standards and innovation in the academy sector."

Micon will be starting with the Trust week beginning the 2nd September.
